The Grand Plan!

A road trip to Ft. Lauderdale so we could finally catch a flight with room for us. The idea was simple: rent a U-Haul for the luggage, load the Newfies into the back of the car, and let the cats snuggle in with Elijah and Penelope. Naturally, I’d be riding shotgun. I even offered to drive once—but let’s be honest, I can’t reach the pedals. Once in Ft. Lauderdale, the cats, Elijah, Penelope, and human mom would board a flight to the island. The next day, human dad and I would get the Newfies onto their cargo plane in Miami. Then we’d hop on a flight ourselves and finally reunite with the rest of the family on the island. Like I said… simple!
