Never Bored on the Boardwalk

After a long day of hiking and a break at the beach, some good food really hit the spot at Brew STX! For those of you who aren’t familiar, Brew STX is a cool restaurant right on the boardwalk in downtown Christiansted. Humans love the boardwalk because there are lots of shops and other restaurants nearby. Plus, it's incredibly beautiful!

I love a lot of things about the boardwalk, but one of my favorites is the chicken wings! My human brother, Elijah, also loves the chicken wings because...well... chicken is delicious and the wings are smothered in tasty sauce. Honestly, chicken wings are the best! Not only can you eat them, but when you’re done getting all the meat off, you can actually throw the bones into the ocean and watch the tarpon fish enjoy them. (I kind of wish Elijah would throw the bones to me, but I suppose it is entertaining to watch the fish snatch them up). Have you ever seen a tarpon jump for a chicken bone? It’s like watching an eagle snatch a rabbit. It all happens so fast. No matter how much I love a good bone (and I REALLY do), I don’t think I’d fight a tarpon for one. Those fish are bigger than me!

The boardwalk has more than just cooked chicken. There are also real live chickens hanging out at the restaurants. They strut around like they own the place and cats slink around like undercover spies. The boardwalk is a great place for creatures and, every now and then, I even meet up with fellow dogs. The boardwalk is great for meeting new friends (furry, feathery, scaly, and even human).
