Hello St. Croix! And, hurricane Erin.

We were just settling in when the hurricane warnings began. What started as a tropical storm quickly grew into a Cat 5.

For those of you who pee in toilets, staying inside isn’t such a big deal. But for us dogs—who use outdoor facilities—it meant braving the storm. The good news? The eye stayed 150 miles north, so we only caught the outer bands. There were enough breaks in the heavy rain for me to walk a full 5K with my humans. A 5K in a Cat 5… that was a first for all of us! How’d the cats do in the storm? They mostly slept through it.
